Club Aim

The club’s aim is to promote the abilities of any swimmer to a competitive level.

Joining The Club

If you would like to join the club you can come along for a trial session on a Monday or Thursday night at 6:30pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early and ‘swim ready’ with a tracksuit or onesie over your swim kit. Also, bring goggles and a towel so you can dry off before leaving and a change of clothes if required, we enter the pool from the bottom fire doors and parents after dropping off can then go in the centre main entrance to log their car registration and request access to the balcony area to watch.

Your swimmer will then be assessed and put into a suitable squad based on their abilities as viewed by the coach. Once this is done you will then be able to understand the monthly fee that would apply against your swimmer for the sessions they are assigned, we also require a yearly payment for the Swim England (SE, formerly ASA) membership, which covers items like insurance and supporting services from the national governing body, this will be invoiced depending on whether they are a competing or training swimmer, please speak to the WASC team for guidance.

All fees are paid by direct debit to the club account via our “Swim Manager” system.

We follow the SE Learn to Swim pathway, but only accept swimmers once able to swim without arm bands, for a swimmer below this standard we can recommend a learn to swim course depending on your location, which would then allow you to progress and link back into the club at the correct stage.

If you join the club you will need to provide the club with an email address from which you will then receive two emails, one from ourselves to create your account in our online system “Swim Manager” and another to complete the online SE membership registration, see “New Joiner” page. Also, use this link to be directed to some additional club documents.

As always any questions just speak to one of the team or email workingtonasc@outlook.com.
